Fermius Firefly

A Dream Log, whenever I remember the dreams I've had.

Fermius is a pen name drawn from a series of short fiction I wrote when I published the small press magazine Stellanova (on paper.) I play RPG games to escape from my daily grind as a technology wage slave for the state of California. I eat out a lot in order to do my part in supporting our increasingly service level economy. I am butler to 2 feline masters. If you ask them they will tell you I'm not very good at it, late with dinner, don't have enough hands with brushes in them, and sometimes I even lock them out of their office.

Kangaroos on Motorbikes

Five or six grey fuzzy kangaroos were stranded alongside the I-15 just past lake Hodges. I stopped, and then helped get their shiny red motorbikes running. One of them head-bonked me and let me pet its back before they all rode off into Escondido.

I can trace part of this dream to a real fuzzy grey critter alongside the I-15. It was a very worn, sun-bleached teddy bear long past its glory days. Im sure it was dredged up out of the ravine next to the road while the expansion crew was working. It is interesting that it turned into several kangaroos, and the motorbikes, really, I have no idea.

Ad astra per technica,

FF
